Update Existing Letter Design, MAILED DesignUpdate

Please read carefully. This item is ONLY for customers who have a pre-designed template on file with Chalk Line's design team.

This item uses a pre-designed template on file with Chalk Line; You send new content, including photos and text, and our design team will use your existing template to create an updated newsletter for mailing. 

There is a $12.99 design update fee applied for this service.  This Design Update fee includes design services for updating your template with your new content to be mailed to a mailing list of your supporters that you provide. Our design team will send a proof that will need to be approved before we start printing. 

PLEASE NOTE: As of April 2025, after an audit of our Design services, Chalk Line is updating our Design policy. We are now limiting the number of revisions to three rounds of revisions. Each additional revision will be an additional charge of $7.99. This will allow our designers to prepare your designs for print in a timely manner and account for additional labor when necessary. 

To ensure that we can fulfill your design request as best as possible, we ask that you include the following with your design request:

  • Your text in a document format such as Word or Pages, or link to a shared Google Document (shared with tiffany.chalkline@gmail.com)
  • Your photos as individual files, preferably as JPEG or PNG files
  • Any organizational branding assets such as logos or icons, and/or an organizational style guide you would like us to follow
  • Any specific design instructions that you would like our designers to follow. This can include picture placement, captions, and layout suggestions

Once approved, we will mail your letter to the address list provided by you. 

Turnaround time for design service is typically 1-2 business days. Order review is typically 1-2 business days. Production time for this item is 1-2 business days.*

*Please budget a minimum of 6 business days from when the order is placed to when it is mailed.  Item turnaround times may vary due to heavier volume during holiday periods. 

*Note: for Email-Add Ons, you may choose between a Static Email $9.99 (Exact copy of your letter converted into an email), or a Static Email PLUS $12.99 (Exact copy of your letter converted into an email, PLUS one hyperlink, links to social media, giving button added and introductory paragraph above letter.) For each recipient in your email list, there is a $0.03 sending fee. For additional options, please visit our separate Email Newsletter item.
